Following the bloody UFC 324 in Las Vegas, Paddy Pimblett and Adam Fugitt were taken to a local hospital to undergo CT scans as a precaution for injuries received in their fights. Pimblett, who lost his main event to Justin Gaethje, was taken in for a thorough checkup after finishing the fight with visible marks and signs of intense punishment. Fugitt, who was knocked out in the first round by debutant Ty Miller, also underwent medical examinations. Both have been discharged, but their cases underscore the extreme physical demands on the UFC and the importance of safety checks after high-impact events.
