Charles Oliveira surprised by publicly acknowledging that a possible fight against Conor McGregor would be more of an economic opportunity than a sporting challenge. The former lightweight champion explained that his main goal is still to regain the division belt, but that if the UFC offered him the fight against the Irishman he would accept it because of the huge financial impact it would entail. Oliveira also recalled that he is currently focused on his fight against Max Holloway at UFC 326, where both will fight for the symbolic BMF belt. The Brazilian believes that a victory in that event could bring him directly back into the conversation for the absolute lightweight title.
