A recent report has revealed that the UFC is prepared to invest an unprecedented amount, up to $60 million, in the production of the UFC White House event scheduled for June 14, 2026. According to information collected by MMA Fighting, the budget would triple that of other high-profile shows such as the one held at the Sphere in Las Vegas, reflecting the magnitude of the project. The plan involves installing an octagon on the south lawn of the White House, with temporary bleachers and a scenic access that would take the fighters from the Oval Office itself to the cage. The replacement of the turf alone, once the set-up is dismantled, could be around $700,000. In addition, part of the capacity would be reserved for members of the U.S. military and a side event is being worked on on the National Mall, where tens of thousands of fans could follow the evening on giant screens. The event would be broadcast on Paramount+ with options for additional coverage on open television, and although the fights have not yet been officially announced, the company is already working on a lineup of six or seven fights. Everything points to it being the most ambitious and expensive set-up in the history of the promotion.
