Coring and judges in MMA

How the score really works and why there are controversial decisions.

1) System 10point

In MMA professional scores round to round. The winner of the round receives 10 points and the loser 9 or less, depending on the impact difference in the round.

2) Primary criteria

Judges prioritize striking Cash y grappling Cash. “Effective” means actions with real impact to damage, finish or bring the completion closer.

3) Secondary criteria

Only if the above is very balanced, effective aggression and control of the combat area enter. It is not scored “vanzar forward” alone if there is no impact.

4) What tends to confuse the public

Control without harm doesn't always win a round.
A short shoot down without useful work can be worth little.
Hitting more doesn't always mean hitting better.

5) Frequent markers

10-9: clear advantage, but not extreme.
10-8: wide difference in damage/effective control.
10-7: Very rare, extraordinary domain.

6) Betting application

If you expect long and closed fight, the judges profile and round score style matter a lot for markets to decide. In fights with high risk of ending, the impact of the juice decreases.
